This is made for Microsoft Word so its very easy to edit, as easy as selecting the textboxes and replacing the content – the included text boxes have no borders around them and background color so they fit in the newspaper just right. Similar procedure for the pictures, you only remove the placeholder pictures already provided in there (they are just examples to illustrate how things would finally look) and insert your own photos. As I said this newspaper template is based on Microsoft Word, so you must have it on your computer, but if you want a free software that does about the same thing you can also use Open Office Writer… There’s a preview inside the zip archive you have available for download below and the filetype for the newspaper is .doc (opens with Microsoft Word) – so also works with newer versions.
This is the most professional newspaper template for word I’ve seen yet. It just looks like it was make by an expert in the field. And you can edit it and make it your own.
Even the titles, subtitles and fonts in general look like they fit. And it’s a long format like real newspapers are so you’ll need longer paper if you’re going to print this one out.
